Harriet's Surprising Visit
Today, my sister in law, Harriet, came to my home and visited our new born baby, Petra . But what I didn't know was what she had in mind. She came into a holy house, with everyone being part of the "true image", asking my wife to trade babies with her, in order for the inspector to approve her child. Harriet's baby, though, had something wrong with her. There was something on that baby that didn't fit the Definition of Man. Therefore, it was considered a blasphemy. She wanted to trade her baby, for our baby, Petra , so that the inspector wouldn't take it away, like the other three times that her baby was taken away. I was furious that someone from a religious family would dare to protect a mutant like Harriet's baby. She wasn't thinking straight. No matter how small the Deviation my have been, it was still a blaphemy. That baby was still a blaphemy and had to be treated as such. With my wife, Emily, declining to trade babies with Harriet, Harriet said that she had no regret for bringing that monster into our house. The next day, she was found dead near a river. We kept her in our prayers, but very soon forgot about her, erasing her from our minds.
